This is Pearl and my daughter Brice. Pearl is a tri-state (Florida, Georgia, Alabama) rescue dog. It has taken us almost two years, but I am proud to say that she went to Cityfest with us and survived (even appeared to enjoy) the activities. When we first got her she spent as much time as she could in the back of our closet, or couch, or corner. She would only eat at night when she was alone. She failed to make eye contact with anyone. She is still adjusting, making progress a little at a time, but her trip to Cityfest was certainly a milestone!
